Doing a good warmup goes a long way to prep your body to prevent injury and improve your overall performance. The rotator cuff muscles are the most important part you want to focus on for pickleball and tennis. This is a prevalent injury site because of the demand placed on the shoulders.

Not only is this good for the shoulders, but it is also beneficial to prevent elbow injury! If you have rotator cuff weakness, this can translate a lot of tension and load into the elbow, causing pain.

Dr. Courtney walks you through some great rotator cuff exercises to incorporate into your warmup for success! We want to keep you moving and enjoying the sport you love, but you can’t do that with nagging injuries, so we want to help!
